@nprofile…zn42 Ah, how stupid of me to forget the financial aspect. Figure that out and the legal part would probably the equivalent of "yeah sure, whatever, go ahead".

@nprofile…zn42 That makes sense, there's probably multiple licenses involved as well so the studio that holds the IP couldn't just create the channel on their own without a bunch of legal agreements.

So every year TBS airs The Christmas Story for 24 hours. How has no streaming channel done something similar but with Die Hard?
Seriously, just set up a channel once a year to stream the film for 24 hours, then take it down for the other 364 days. I'm sure it would get a ton of plays.

She may spend every night snoring and sometimes farting, but she's still the best coworker I've ever had. And not the first coworker I've had that spent the night snoring...lol.

@npub10fp…qqev Glad to see we were basically on the same page with our ideas. I'll have to check out TrueFans after Tuesday.

@npub1pwl…5qzr @npub1ln5…xyw6 @npub1df6…ns3a I agree a pure V4V model would be ideal but authors might not be willing to upload if they can’t guarantee a minimum price. But there could be an option for the author to select a fixed price or pay what you want even if it’s zero. Users could then choose to pay afterwards.
I love the idea of a dialog at the end of the book to prompt a review with the user able to set their own amount. Though I do feel there should be a minimum amount, say 200 Sats?
