I'd recommend building and expanding your library of mcps to cover regular topics you manage. It's a great boon for sturdier outputs and it drastically cuts context usage. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Is there still a demo scene? Those dudes were mind boggling back in the 90s npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Please join me in this evening's epic scream into the void. We begin momentarily. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino You know what's funny about the TSA lines in the US? They could just... not have them npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Do you want your computer to sound like an 80s #scifi device with lots of bleeps and bloops and swoops? Are you running #linux? npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I cut my toenail too short and it's doing the ingrown thing on the side. Life is terrible npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I hope this person gets their access restored. Then i hope they write the book on how to migrate out of Apple's ecosystem npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Fully remote npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I should also call out the good actors. Enabling private DNS with quad9 completely removed the issue. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I should call out bad actors. In this case it was https://befonts.com/ npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino A single page load on a basic font-download site triggered all of this: npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…dy33 interesting. The focus was on archive.today (Tucows in Canada) not archive.is (ISNIC in Iceland). Neither are under the FBI jurisdiction. The subpoena is utterly useless. They could have started an official Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) request, but they didn't. Unless Tucows just decides to volunteer the info at this point, there's no reason for anyone to be doing anything. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Let's talk about mediocre hobbies. When we're very young it's easy to try anything and have fun doing so. Making funny sounds on a xylophone or drawing pictures with charcoal don't rely on the output for enjoyment. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino If you were a snail-like creature who carried your home on your back, what would your house look like npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…q5wq thanks for the heads up about patronizer. Switched and upgraded! npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…el4d never thought of ultrasonic for vinyl. How smart npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…de2h oh yes, great choice. I too would wish to be a sandwich npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino If you were transformed into a loaf of bread, what type would it be? npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…4new this on Android yet? Not seeing where to select different options npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino A new hero rises? npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I'm going to add a feature to my RSVP browser add-on, Stutter. My own experience mirrors recent research into reading retention, reading speed, and cognitive load of material. I'll be adding an optional feature (English only for now) to auto adjust RSVP speed based on text complexity. Over got 7 different measures and I'm exploring weighting to get the right feel. This is thrilling! npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…q5wq it's so good! More portal stories coming soon? npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino https://media.tilde.zone/media_attachments/files/114/762/740/771/962/011/original/19d748f6ed9056a6.jpg npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…d6h6 i disagree that Taco Bell is the best restaurant ever. You're clearly wrong about everything. :) npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino If you got elected Pope, what would your Pope name be? npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino https://a.co/d/hPQ7ooJ npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino If your life had a save/load option like a video game, what ridiculous thing would you do right after saving your progress? npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…d6h6 this aligns with how Tesla's act on the road here npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I got a vaccine booster for MMR today. I got my initial vaccine in the early 80s before the US moved to 2 shots. I'm about to travel into an outbreak so this seemed prudent. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Terrible idea: A website only 1 person can view at a time. If the tab loses focus it transfers to the next person in line. It should probably have an inactivity timeout too. For everyone else you just get your queue number. Oh! And if you're in the queue and your tab loses focus you lose your spot. Back of the line with ya! npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino #gemini protocol uses TLS, but has a history of preferring self-signed certificates. This led to the decision for clients to use TOFU (Trust on First Use) as the go-to method. We have TLSA/DANE available if your domain supports DNSSEC. With that, you can give your self-signed certificate trust, even on first use. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…2uaj now I'm dreaming about your cool grammary group chats and all the funny names they must have. Are they puns or inside jokes? npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I wrote this with Lent in mind, but as sunset is happening I realize it's topical for Ramadan as well. I wish all of you who celebrate these seasons a successful one that brings you closer to God. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Installed LibreWolf today. It's perfectly cromulent. Drop-in FF replacement. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…g7ds hey, stop being shit bags. You're the ones we're rooting for. Literally all you need to do to succeed is nothing. Just stop. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Aurora from the cabin. #iceland npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I have another #solarpunk talk coming up in #reykjavik #iceland on the 26th at 18:30. It's free at Hafnar Haus. I'm planning on talking about how we create symbols in our communities and culture and what that means for the emerging genre. https://www.facebook.com/events/1384170762582287/ npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino You know that town in Alaska that has a cat for a mayor? Can we do that for the rest of American leadership? I'm willing to entertain dogs as well, and reasonably behaved hamsters. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino As the clock strikes midnight here it marks my one year anniversary of renouncing US citizenship. Feeling pretty good about that decision. Feeling pretty horrible about what I'm watching happen there though. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @nprofile…d6h6 what's the likelihood he just asked ChatGPT npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino If I take #AI out of the context of its resource costs and threats to art and truth and think about it purely from the convenience aspect it feels like talking to the computer on the Enterprise in #startrek . npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I don't want to add much more psychological burden on everyone feeling low right now, but it feels important to share a thought: npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Bloop npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino Just had a platform survey me about the #AI features I'd like to see them add. Now i can share it with more people npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino @npub1yck…ujmw the memory is already allocated. you might as well npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino 1-800-255-3700 npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino This song has been stuck in my head for about 35 years. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I don't have a cat. I rent this apartment and there's no pets allowed. If we were allowed we would have a cat. I would pet the cat. It would be warm and soft and lovely. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino I got this thingy to hold my book while I'm in bed. it rules. npub1vrgezzknqvnzxaap2ytajfyexp2ev4xp0ed6rtkt6nnw0hrhd0sqpdg69a tomasino pops a wheelie
