According to https://news.agu.org/press-release/satellite-megaconstellations-burn-deplete-ozone/ the aluminum won't percolate down from the mezosphere to the stratosphere for ~30 years so by the time we notice the effects on stratospheric ozone it'll be way way too late. Even if we stopped immediately there would be another 30 years of impacts locked in. (but we wouldn't stop anyway because by then vested interests will be keen to keep going).
Seems reckless.

A lot of people made new years resolutions about using social media less. So I'm adding an optional daily time limit to #PieFed!
One nice thing about the #fediverse is we don't need to optimize for addiction.
The warning pops up with every page load so just clicking past it won't work. It's for your own good!

The tough part is the usual chicken and egg that all marketplaces have - getting users on board at the same time as getting devs on board so there is an exchange that can happen.

It'd need to be two colors - one for light mode and another for dark.
...maybe you'd need a corresponding text color too, for when the accent is used as a button background, etc. A light and a dark mode text color.
...and then again, many clients have multiple themes with different color schemes. It'd be hard to ensure the custom accent looks ok on all of them.

No, because AP is only used for server to server communication, not server to client. A web browser is always a client.
AP technically does allow for server to client but most apps have found it easier to use their own API for that and reserve AP for federation only.
