Last Notes npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell I have a smart meter, which has a day rate, a night rate and a peak rate which cut in at different times. This is quite cool, I can charge my car up at 11pm on night rate, and we try to avoid putting on high current devices during the 5-7pm peak rate. I can see what I am using in the customer portal where they have a little graph. But something is wrong. My car starts at 22:00??? https://cdn.masto.host/mastodonie/media_attachments/files/112/524/128/846/310/096/original/15bef79acddcef93.png npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell Popped out for some eggs and accidentally came back with a dozen whiskey barrels. https://cdn.masto.host/mastodonie/media_attachments/files/112/502/958/474/008/861/original/6643b51d463b4b99.jpg npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell @npub19lt…qfjk yeah, probably unsuitable for your application, but if you want the cheapest possible SIM then that is probably the answer. Good for IOT things that are going to be out in the field for ages, perhaps solar powered and unserviceable. npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell @npub19lt…qfjk 1nce do an eUICC (esim) compatible card for €12.50 for 10 years. It is meant for low data IOT things, but it is just a SIM card. npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell @npub19lt…qfjk done npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell @npub19lt…qfjk it followed me, but my follow request looks pending still. Want me to re-request? npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell @npub19lt…qfjk @npub1ghv…n7nx my follow request is awaiting approval. Is this a feature or something gone wrong? npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell @npub15zu…s7lx @npub16v8…aq0e @npub1fpe…75rh or you do what they did in Kidston australia and flood the mine to have an underground lake. Probably won't work in all mines, I am not sure how commonly this would be plausible. npub1w5zxf5tp4u7wavsanf7mzxffgsqzq4ft8yf892lmy8cws0wq5sdsvm3n43 Alan Bell @npub18qw…y4hk interesting, thanks. This is a 13A smartplug, most are 10A, and I know it is drawing about 11A. It ran fine for a few months with a Renault Zoe but I think I will look for a more robust solution with an external wallbox.
