'...The United States holds $39 trillion in gross national debt. That debt is serviceable because foreign governments buy Treasuries. Foreign governments buy Treasuries because they accumulate dollars. They accumulate dollars because oil is priced in dollars. If oil stops being priced in dollars, the demand that finances the debt weakens. Saudi Arabia’s Treasury holdings fell to $134.8 billion in January 2026, down $14.7 billion in a single month. The Saudis let the 1974 agreement lapse in June 2024 without renewal. The recycling loop that Kissinger built is loosening at the same moment that the strait through which it operated is controlled by a hostile military collecting tolls in a rival currency...'

There are so many events today that even Hickel forgets about the USA attack on #Venezuela! 😢

Pam Bondi, "There is no evidence that Donald Trump has committed a crime"
Ted Lieu, "You just lied under oath. There is ample evidence in the Epstein files"
Pam Bondi, "Don't you ever accuse me of a crime"
Ted Lieu, "You just lied under oath, and this is on video tape"
Ted Lieu then reads an extract from the Epstein files about a girl who says she was raped by Trump and Epstein and had her head blown off, with officer saying it couldn't have been a suicide
Ted Lieu, "You have not held a single man accountable"
"Shame on you"
"if you had any decency, you would resign after this hearing concludes"

@nprofile…ugpy : ...America's unabashed dollar weaponization has been getting worse for years, but under Trump, the weaponized dollar has come to constitute an existential risk to the rest of the world, sending them scrambling for alternatives. As November Kelly says, Trump inherited a poker game that was rigged in his favor, but he still flipped over the table because he resents having to pretend to play at all:
https://pluralistic.net/2026/01/26/i-dont-want/#your-greenback-dollar
Once Trump tried to steal Greenland, it became apparent that the downsides of the dollar far outweigh its upsides. Last month, Christine Lagarde (president of the European Central Bank) made a public announcement on a radio show that Europe "urgently" needed to build its own payment system to avoid the American payment duopoly, Visa/Mastercard:
https://davekeating.substack.com/p/can-europe-free-itself-from-visamastercard
Now, there's plenty of reasons to want to avoid Visa/Mastercard, starting with cost: the companies have raised their prices by more than 40% since the pandemic started (needless to say, updating database entries has not gotten 40% more expensive since 2020). This allows two American companies to impose a tax on the entire global economy, collecting swipe fees and other commissions on $24t worth of the world's transactions every year:...'

When Meta kills your account they also kill your messenger thus cutting you off from family and work.
Remember my example.

These days I feel all my 'nuanced understanding' of the world of the past was pointless mental gymnastics to appeal to a mythical 'center'.
A more 'black and white' approach to understanding the fuckers that rule this planet is, and always was, required.

#Facebook
Now I have been completely kicked of Facebook. Again, I am accused of 'Inauthentic Behaviour'.
My main account was zucked. now my 2nd account has been zucked.
Even my partner's account was zucked today because I tried to transfer admin status of one my pages to my 2nd fb account. She had to send a selfie to them.
I did the same for my first account and then a week later fb demanded my personal ID. I sent a photo of that minus personal data. I expect that Fb will not accept it as valid even if I supposedly have privacy protected as an EU citizen.
On my first account I posted photo of my child which are now all gone, even from the folder I shared with my partner. How posting photos of one's child can be 'Inauthentic Behaviour' is beyond my understanding.
I know that one issue has always plagued my fb accounts and this I get punished for support Palestine.
Fuck Facebook, Free Palestine.
