Even the smallest creatures can no longer move noiselessly. There are dead leaves on the ground and even the leaves on the branches of mature oaks are now so brittle that they rustle as the squirrels and birds move among them. It always annoys me that the wall behind looks unfinished. Anyone know what I should do about the annoying gap? Obviously I do not want skirting board behind a cooker. I had intended it to be tiled to the floor. The recruitable age for women is much lower than 57, one ex-HR person told they had used 40 for women and 50 for men. Since then I have had a few part-time and temp jobs, but at almost 64 I am now one of the economically inactive and intend to remain so. npub1wjetga77jtl3s3uj90ahchjgptlcp53dq3s7de5rqc7g22zha8pqtp7j0e Sarah🌳 Lots of ducks will lay eggs in the nests of other duck species. A bit like cuckoos. That would be my first guess, but I know nothing about Australian ducks.
