All of these "modify" the audio on the client side only:
- skip 30 sec
- skip first n minutes of show automatically
- chapter skip
- automatic chapter skip per type
- (a few redacted - possible but no apps do them yet)
- automatic ad id and skip
It seems automatic ad id and skipping is the most offensive to podcasters since it directly targets the business model - namely force-feeding audio the listener doesn't want along with audio they do

@npub1vpk…092y that's expected I think, item guids are strings, and one with and without a trailing slash would be two different guids in the feed, so i'd need to distinguish the two
the two reflex url patterns (with and without existing chapters) should be easy to grok and copy paste? at least i tried to make them as easy as possible, no additional encoding step

well the idea is to provide value back to the podcaster that is using the service, so I'd like to add chapter cards near the end of the episode with totals/summary by various dimensions, including app, yes!
also eventually some sort of visualization of the aggregated streaming listening history timeline for the episode, perhaps with their own cards if no existing chapters

New podcast app builders: I put together a public matrix of which apps send which blip-10 fields, and some recommended changes for each app to send the best payloads possible.
This distributed payment ecosystem will only work if the underlying data is solid from every sender

all of the validation rules can be run outside of the webapp (which actually runs on the client in the browser), the repo includes a cli version for example

Only independent and auditable prefix system (no creepy listener IP address joins to 3rd party demographic dbs like the others)
