yep, they certainly think it's fine to diminish your pain. What I don't get - and this just happened here in the UK too - is that they think voters will be put off from voting for their candidate if people point out that their candidate is far from perfect (but still better than the other option), yet they don't seem to think that acting like twats towards these people might be equally/more off-putting

G had a horrible cycling accident. She was just behind me and came off at speed. Bad head injury and, being in the middle of nowhere, it took ages to get to a rural clinic, then ambulance to a city with A&E. She slowly came around, but had scans to be sure. Apart from very bad cuts and bruises she's now ok. We're in a hotel in fuck knows where, many miles from our bikes and I needed to get these words down because I've been fucking terrified for 8 hours. All ok now. Jesus hecking fucking christ.
