Pas de compétences techniques nécessaires, juste un peu de communication en anglais et suivre une procédure simple et très claire !

Eh, @npub1yu2…8rd5 , tu veux pas qu'on interviewe @npub16ys…sjae sur la "peinture numérique", le cycle de production, les produits de chaque étape de création, les propriétés signifiantes, les moyens d'analyser et contrôler tout ça, et après on fait un papier à #iPRES2026 qui cartonne ?

Notice the nice sentence below the said figures “See animations with Adobe Reader, KDE Okular or YouTube.” Well, my Adobe Reader does not work, so let’s try Okular – already heard of it, never tried it yet: https://okular.kde.org. We’re welcome on the landing page by an illustration from @npub16ys…sjae always a good sign.
And it works! #Okular displays videos as soon as we open the file and scroll to the figure. 4/9

If you click “Options” then “Trust this document”, you can then click on figures 1 and 7. But in my case, the image is replaced by a black rectangle, and that’s it. In fact, this should be a video, but Adobe Reader won’t display it. Only if I right-click BEFORE having enabled (by just left-clicking on it), have I the option to “Save video as”. Then I can play it with VLC. 3/9

Well, they are not. Try downloading the file, and open it with Adobe Reader. This could depend on the version (mine is 2025.001.20432), but you’ll probably see this warning on the top of your document:

Hey #digipres nerds! What do you use to manipulate METS files?
And are you aware of any XML editor that can handle METS (namespaces, internal references via IDREF/IDREFS)? Bonus point if it can apply #schematron ...
I individually use Oxygen XML Editor but it became really expensive and I don't think my institution can afford as many licences it would need.
