snake.dance update, week of June 29 to July 5
- The faucet now releases its daily budget in six portions spread over the day. Sats to win around the clock, not just for the early birds.
- Daily prize and tournament winners can now decline their payout and leave the sats in the pool for everyone else.
- The weekly tournament recurs automatically: every Sunday 18:00 UTC. Show up, climb the board, get paid over Lightning.
- Tournament page got a visual cleanup to match the main game.

You can actually finish a room with a 21 chest overflow.
There should be a new badge for this event.
Stack Sats and Snake dance!

The next tournament on 28 June will count a score for every Snake player.
The rules are the following:
SCORE = PWR collected + DMG dealt (4DMG = 1 Score) + Kills (50 Score) - Death (minus 120 Score)
Have fun playing the tournament.
Now its better tuned for PvP / PvE action.
Hope we get some more players this time.
See you Snakes and dance. :-)

This is a reminder that you now can see all your Snakes stats on the new profile Tab!
If you feel a little bored you can now trash talk into the lobby chat Tab.
And you can register your Name now,
nobody else can play it anymore.
So these are 3 very important updates for long term Snakes players.
Hope you don't get addicted :-)
At least it's always a fun 5 min if you are working in an office or something.

Glad you're enjoying it — stack those sats, and maybe register your name and donate back that way to the new snakes.

snake.dance Patch Notes #1
Our first-ever patch notes. Fresh drops in the arena:
Reserve your name, claim a display name that's exclusively yours. Pay once in sats and nobody else can play under it. Shorter names cost more (1 letter = 5555 sats – 7+ letters = 1221). Want a different one later? Just register a new one.
Pellets show their worth, every big pellet now shows its power value. A boss or chest drop = 9, a snake you beat out in the open = 6, a snake that crashed into the wall = 3. Grab the juicy ones first.
New Game Info page, tap the SATS FAUCET box on the home screen for a quick rundown of all four bosses: Red Sun, Green Vortex, Blue Quad and the Pulsar and how to stack sats.
Crash-proof tournament prizes, winners' payouts now survive a server restart. Your prize is always claimable, every time.
Play free, beat the bosses, fight other players and stack sats: https://snake.dance

Snake.dance update
Faucet donations, your way — when you donate to the sats faucet you can now use a slider to split your tip between the faucet and the dev (10–90%). Min donation 10 sats.
Blue Quad rebalanced — its split mini-squads now only drain your PWR when they hit your body; only a hit to your head costs HP. Less brutal, more fair.
Bosses always come back — fixed a bug where Green Vortex & Pulsar could vanish after a quiet period and never respawn. The map stays dangerous.
Cleaner tutorial — the tutorial room no longer spawns Pulsar/Vortex; just you and the gentle boss to learn the ropes.
Play free, beat the bosses, stack sats — snake.dance

This key is 4 days old and we already got a huge update.
A new snake dance room is now online for gameplay.
Its a tutorial room, so you can learn every mechanic of the game.
There is an extra leaderboard for this room,
the fastest snake to complete the room is at the top!
So you play it multiple times if you like.
Have fun!
