Unpopular opinion: GMs, PVs and really most kind1 notes in general are pretty low signal content IMHO. I love you guys, but I think the hyperfocus on Kind1 clients may have been a mistake.
This is why I'm building nostr clients with NIP-99 classifieds, NIP-73 podcast boosts, NIP-52 events, and NIP-23 articles... Much higher signal.

It wasn't a one shot by any means, but remote signing has been working pretty well on localbitcoiners.com for some time now... I think that was done with Opus 4.6 and I've never even looked at the code.

As Bitcoin node runners, miners, users and hodlers, it is our responsibility to think critically and not get swept up in emotional arguments to change Bitcoin. Despite what some people say, I believe it is actually up to us to protect the consensus rules. Recognize your own limitations in understanding proposed changes to Bitcoin, especially when our money still works.
Humans experience fear for a reason, but that reason also makes fear the ultimate click bait... How do you know if a boy is crying wolf for real or for attention? Have you actually seen the threat he speaks of, have you actually been harmed by it? Will you burn down the forest just to try and smoke him out? How will you know if it was even effective?
I take threats to the safety and security of my family very seriously, which is why I will not be coerced into fundamentally changing Bitcoin over a minority claim with no evidence that their proposal will even be effective. I am not blind to danger, but fear does not control me.

Tested with localbitcoiners.com and it works great! NWC loaded and worked flawlessly even with multi-leg payments 🔥
The only hiccup was that I had to try to login with extension twice - the first time it seemed like the handshakes were slightly off or something. Unclear if this is a localbitcoiners thing or a sidecar thing, but just thought i would share.
Thank you for building this... its a breath of fresh air compared to the other browser signers. 🙏

Lots of people want websites and images inline with our notes - take a look around for notes like this with multiple images and weblinks...
When you make a rendering decision that is out of line with all the other clients notes will look shitty on your client.
