I got to play a 2k-point game of #WH40k today. My Tyranids faced the blood-thirsty forces of the World Eaters. It was a hard-fought and extended battle... but, in the end, the World Eaters were victorious, just barely.

I never experienced #Gundam growing up, so I feel like I'm making up for lost time. My first fully assembled #model: HG 1/144 Gundam Lfrith Pre-Production Model. I got it from Premium Bandai, at the recommendation of the local T'au player.
After watching The Witch From Mercury, I was glad to see this pop up when browsing p-bandai's website.
I wish I could explain how excited I was to assemble this. It was so much fun 😁

1) Yes! We started with the Leviathan deck, but we've switched over to the new Pariah Nexus deck. 2) We use the same board that you'd use for Combat Patrol: 30 x 44
Followup: We use Take and Hold for our Primary mission, and generate a random Mission Rule from the deck as well.

Today at my FLGS is #Friday500!
The idea came from Play on Tabletop, and the rules were simple enough that we use them at my FLGS now: 1+ Character (No Epic Heroes), 2+ Infantry (Nothing with T10+). 4 primary objectives worth 5 points each (max 15/turn), and Tactical secondaries.
It turned out to be a big hit, and I'm using it (instead of Combat Patrol) to teach new players. I'll have my 3rd match with a new Ultramarines player today! 😁

I'd say it does! I think Spearhead does what Combat Patrol aimed to do, but better. It's a great intro to the game, to your army, and a good game mode by itself if you'd rather stick with smaller battle sizes.

I'd like some advice (if you've seen me ask this elsewhere, I'm sorry, I'm gathering as much input as I can).
When I go to expand my #OgorMawtribes army from Spearhead to 2,000 points, what's the most budget-friendly way to do so?
Partially ignoring that, is including the Frostlord/Huskard/Beastriders on Stonehorn/Thundertusk a good idea? It looks frikin cool!

Fair enough. I see those sets, or the Space Marines/Tyranids ones, and lament how they "should" do what Privateer Press used to do with their P3 line and box up like 8 paints per faction and sell them like that as starter sets.
