Now, with the #SilentHill2Remake out there, I want to point you to the HD Remaster of the original's Making Of I made last year. It's not your average cheap AI upscale, lots of love went in such as restaging game scenes, and installing Softimage 3D 3.7 😅

"In this context, a "ROM" is used to refer to a console game. In the case of old consoles, a game's code is stored inside its cartridge on a ROM chip (i.e. read-only-memory) in machine language, meaning the raw instructions for the console's processor. This is not meant to be modified or read by humans. "ROM-hacking" is the act of altering this machine code by means of clever reverse engineering."
