Many interests, little time. Unschooling parent. Long-term interest in bicycles; built a bamboo diamond frame bike years ago, learning TIG welding now to mess around more again. I would like to talk with more thoughtful and empathetic people with whom I don't agree. Periodically I am very sad. Wrassle computers for money.

Last Notes npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…fwps being able to ride to and from the airport sounds fantastic! If the suitcase isn't also a trailer, do you store it at the airport for the duration of your trip? Strap it to the bike somehow? Or something else .. @nprofile…d2v0 @nprofile…6r9q npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…pfuj @nprofile…r6z7 I...I just don't know anymore? npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…h6a3 I also want to do some pit firing! Any tips appreciated 🙂 npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…4w8z fucking hell 😠 npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder Got to participate in firing a train style kiln last weekend; it was super cool! Now just have to be patient until next Saturday to see the results... but waiting is hard! 😅 #woodfired #pottery npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…k72k @nprofile…fn3d it's so infuriating; clearly being done to both communicate hostility and contempt for visitors while simultaneously providing an excuse to demand papers from residents in new contexts. npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…k72k @nprofile…y70r one of those "this is not the timeline I expected to be living in" kind of titles! npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder I'm unreasonably proud of finishing the conversion of this kid hauling bike trailer to its second life as a flatbed cargo trailer for our longtail ebikes. #CarryShitOlympics #BikeTooter #ReduceReuseRecycle npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…0ta0 yeah, what left me cold when I tried copilot &c was that it isn't the code *generation* that I spend my time on. npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…9q8r your carvings always bring me joy! What kind of wood do you usually work with, if you don't mind me asking? npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…skc4 FXBG Food Exchange? npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…wfh6 possibly relevant to your interests 🙂https://store.experimentalfarmnetwork.org/products/kaleidescope-perennial-kale-grex npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @nprofile…wfh6 that's pretty awesome! How cold is your overwintering season? We get one or two times a winter where we hit the low 20s F; think it might do ok with that? npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @npub1483…lv2w friend of the family works at a local hospital. She recently got sick, tested COVID positive, and they told her to come to work anyway. 🤯🤬 npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @npub1uw8…88kr that sounds amazing! npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder @npub1pfe…e2dm I know it's not quite what you're talking about here, but I feel very strongly that the moral path forward requires de-emphasizing the person/not-person line and treating all beings and things with reverence. npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder Feeling a little smug about my weirdest and most ambitious bike delivery of a BuyNothing giveaway :) A very large corkboard! I c-clamped a longer board to my runner board, put a paracord guyline from the end of that to my rack, and got creative with the ratchet straps. #BikeTooter #CarryShitOlympics npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder #BloomScrolling #SilentSunday npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder Some pics from our bike ride today; lunch stop by the little Applegate River. #BikeTooter #SilentSunday #mosstodon npub1xrwr8wgmfkwhvnxsyuarrls8qrqmnm426uc49pvk5ynujhr094aqehnh44 Emile Snyder I haven't posted any of my eldest kid's work in awhile, but I'm really taken with their latest creation.
