@nprofile…5hfh the mirror? Not yet. Still collecting crap 😂

2025-04-27 09:09:54 GMT

Yesterday was Kings day.
Main event for me is scouring a flea market.
I saw this mirror on Pinterest years ago and wanted to make one myself.
So I am hunting for small toys and untill I have enough I keep them in these glass boxes.
This year I only spent €2 on a handful of toys.
But the best find was this mini tante Neel.
The 45+ year old Dutchies probably recognize her.
She's a character on a 70's puppet show that I watched as a toddler. My dad nicknamed me after her.

It brought me to Chile. Fell in the middle of a concert. A combination of rock and a symphonic orchestra. Couldn't understand a word of it but sounded fantastic. Took me a while to figure out what I was watching.
Christian rock band Rescate.
And here's the whole concert.

@nprofile…z2kg exactly. In most stadiums the "guests" are also caged in on the stands (or bleachers? What's the correct word) They have a designated spot, usually in the corner where you can't see anything. The club in my city has a wall to seperate them from the rest that's not see through so they can't even see the closest goal.

@nprofile…5hfh @nprofile…34yy It's either that or stay home. Some clubs aren't even allowed to visit the other club. Some of those are temporary bans. The Amsterdam Rotterdam one is permanent.
They both have the habit to take the rivalry outside the stadium.
Let to one murder years ago and several occasions where they tried to destroy/burn down each others city.

@nprofile…5hfh @nprofile…34yy Not because you asked but maybe you want to know. Here in the Netherlands season tickets holders travel to all games. There's one thing that keeps a lot of people from attending away games and that's the mandatory bus ride. You are not allowed to go to the away game by yourself. You have to get to the stadium of your club and hop on the available bus there that brings you (and your fellow fans) to the away game.

So we bought 40 rings last summer, crocheted mandalas for weeks, tie wrapped them together and adorned her carport today.
We have no idea how long the colors last since the Spanish sun is brutal. But it's really pretty for now 😀

@nprofile…k98q I haven't found time to listen to the past few shows. I saw the airfryer artwork and checked out what that was all about. I wouldn't have believed there are WiFi airfryers if I hadn't seen them myself.
Two weeks ago my mum pointed them out when we were at Lidl (in Spain)
We're still joking about it.
With every outgoing text or photo: Have you shared that with the airfryer yet?😂

@nprofile…zvrn I remembered I made show art on this topic. So I could find the episode pretty fast.
This was way back in 2022. But here's the clip.

@npub1llm…t2qm 👏 👏 👏 love this! Too bad Adam didn't recognize this for launch art. (oink oink)
Do upload one without a shownumber if they are going to discuss the catch.
John might appreciate it.

Is it me or is there an annoying hiss when either John or Adam speaks?
