I begrudgingly admire the thought process of the political (parasite) class. "We're protecting children" is easy to sell to normies, but "We're going to imprison our political enemies" won't fly quite so well

Lol everything our political class says is for show. (I've worked in political fundraising for ~30 years now)

Risk of MSTR, IBIT, GBTC managers being foolish or compromised is a huge red flag, compared to owning BTC directly. But don't discount the value of having an on-ramp for the vast majority of the savings of the average person -- locked into a closed-loop retirement system. I see a bigger potential risk in the first major price downturn after this run is over...might poison normies' attitude for a long time to come

with a bunch of BTC/tech people on Nostr, your story could probably be applied to 80% of us. (Though your quality of writing and storytelling is far better than your average geek 🤓)
