One thing that sucked was that the guests before us made a pretty big mess, left behind their garbage, and pissed in one of the corners?? (The now infamous piss corner) Luckily the early chikizens helped clean. ❤️ I’m trying to contact the agency to find out _what went wrong_ and if they can comp us for the inconvenience. Definitely not choosing that place again.

@nprofile…zvku Thanks for coming! Was great to finally meet. I saw your toot on overcharging, with the space + drinks + 3 hours it’s hard to go below 2500 pp! We actually made a bit of a loss, overprovisioning the booze definitely didn’t help, but I’ll try to get a better deal next time!

2025-11-29 17:05:59 GMT

Made it home safe! At one point the road markings started to merge together which was less than ideal.

2025-11-29 17:05:17 GMT

Some quick math, after we bought a lil’ bit too much booze and food and less attendance than expected we didn’t quite break even on #chikicon (far from it lmao), but good lessons for next year! Plus half my trunk is still filled with booze and crisps so I consider it a win! 😤

2025-11-29 14:54:01 GMT

How the fuck is Kampachj road still packed. 🥲

2025-11-29 14:00:38 GMT

Chikicon was awesome!! Thanks everyone who came, brought conversation, and helped clear the stock of booze and food we brought. Definitely gotta do this again! ❤️
Also big thanks to the early arrivees and late stayers for cleaning and carrying stuff. And special shoutout to @nprofile…xtv5 for helping with the Costco haul!

Cordoned off a server for a migration. Notified everyone and their moms. Sure enough at midnight someone who never pays attention started yelling at people that the server was offline. People folded under pressure. Brought it back online. Migration failed. Database now in two states. Excellent way to start the day.

Few societies have been as under-researched as the Smurfs. For decades we have accepted the official narrative of a utopian mushroom village where everyone happily performs a single job, governed by a non-elected patriarch. Yet beneath this veneer lies a community grappling with issues long ignored by both authorities and policymakers.
In this study I confront two of those neglected crises: the rise of homelessness, and a rapid increase in the misuse of illegal substances.
