I mean, I don’t know what hosting provider this person is using https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41830709, but it could be any provider other than WP Engine including Automattic-owned providers like Pressable, Wordpress VIP, and WordPress dot com.
Funny that you’re safer on WP Engine atm.

We have a heavily customized client site that relies on ACF. When I read the news this weekend about the plugin theft, I worried for a moment that I needed to do something to protect our customer’s site.
But then I remembered they’re on WP Engine so we weren’t impacted. 🤷

Today's tip: Don't wear a flesh-colored shirt in the photo you use on social media—especially on LinkedIn where you're trying to look professional. When someone scrolls past their avatar, they wonder why you posted a topless photo. Oh, and it doesn't help if your beard covers the shirt neckline.
