I was a firefighter and we were doing periodic reviews of some preplans for a commercial shopping center and they were one of the shops I was assigned. I briefly chatted with the woman who owned the place and she passed a vibe check and verified that she carried a wide scope of sizes and designs for different shapes. The fact that gore width isn’t part of the sizing and measurements proves what a mess the whole thing is. Quality fittings generally recommend specific bras because of this. The size and shape of the breast root is not covered at all by a tape measure standard measurement and almost no bra seriously accounts for the fact that larger breasts seldom are positioned with all the tissue forward on the rib cage.
