As a #Bitcoin user, you have no way to force an on-chain transaction into a block mined by a specific miner.
I wish this was possible 🤔
Why? Because I worry about miner centralization. Some companies and the countries they are residing in, are getting too big.
What if wallets would let you post transactions out-of-bounds, say, only to the Ocean mining pool?

#masrodon is a bit of a side show for me. Most people I follow are on #nostr.

Nostr and Mastodon can right now not protect people against malicious information because they don’t have a top-down enforced community notes like system.

#nostr clients are the perfect place to backup encrypted data in blobs.
So a P2P agenda which has a private key and a per-device-public-key could use any #nostr relay as a backup solution to place the few KiB files that are created when you export you decentralized agenda 🤔

Would it be possible to make a decentralized agenda protocol?
What if all my devices, my laptop and phone and tablet could talk with each other and synchronize my agenda point instead of trust Google or Apple iCloud to store and forward my agenda points?
I know @protonprivacy has an agenda app now, but it is still stored on a central server.
I wish there was a way to #p2p exchange agenda items, and maybe store an encrypted backup externally. But that backup isn’t used for synching.

My “ideal” system would be a DHT code in the Nostr note and a WebTorrent-ish system for downloading the actual picture/audio/video/file. This will help spread a file because now I’m also a “seeder”.
We should have apps that let you stop seeding after a while or manually. Just imagine that you download and view a file that you really hate to spread. The file seeding should optionally be possible to turn off.

The continuous problem with Onion routing , apparently, is that the network is under spam attacks.
This can be prevented if both routing and exit nodes implemented a smallish fee. To not doxx users, these satoshi’s should be paid in eCash form 🤔

Tim May, Eric Hughes and other cypherpunks saw the possibility of machine to machine payments long before #bitcoin existed.
They also speculated that one day we could buy computer resources.
It’s true we can buy compute power like on Nvidia’s GeForce Now and storage like on AWS. But surely with eCash tokens backed by Bitcoin we should be able to make decentralised versions of this same system ?
How cool would it be to run software , maybe a bit like “Folding at Home” or like SETI once worked (basically like a screensaver= only using my CPU and GPU when I didn’t need it) and paying me fractions of ṩ of ₿ for it??

It’s good for privacy to use a new address every time that you send money to someone.
The receiver should give you a new address each time. Or the wallet software should generate a new address for you each time (like some wallets do by default nowadays).
But what if you have a static website and can’t update your wallet address? Or what if we want convenience like on Lightning with static LNURL addresses that can be reused ?
This BIP352 makes this possible. The way I understand it (I didn’t write the code) is like this: The address you see locks funds on chain. Every time someone sees that a deposit was made to his address he can redeem to a new address. This increases privacy.

I love the geekiness of this and I guess the reason these numbers are worthy of being on the dashboard is because the distance of these heavenly bodies keeps changing?
And with distance also the time?
I am personally guessing that another planet, should they choose to work on a #bitcoin standard, would be better of running there own side chain with federated block chain nodes.
