we need to normalize not having exterior lighting on without a real need, for everything, data centers aren't special. Motion activated path lighting, and not much more, it doesn't reduce crime (shining a flashlight into cars is obvious, aimlessly wandering a will lie lit parking lot is probably just can't remember where they parked).

Reddit's r/buyitforlife is a pit of despair, just about all the former good stuff sucks now. Birkenstock, LL Bean, you name it, when your old one finally wears out, the replacement will suck.

I had been wondering what was up with it, it's just to support the currency long enough for them to get their investments out, it will do nothing for Argentina.

it's a bail out for Trump's Wall Street supporters who invested in Argentina but have realized it's going to fail again, they cash out via that $20b in currency supports, then it runs out, and Argentina has another crisis.

sure, so, California passes a law repealing their income tax (not fully deductible any more if you're rich) and replaces it with a payroll tax, which is fully deductible. Is it a one to one replacement, of course not, but it's an example of what you could do. Switch the states income to things that reduce federal revenue.

I mean, we could start doing some things, like replace income taxes with payroll, as the income are only partially deductible, while payroll are fully deductible, for an example (and yes, pay would have to change some too). But, yeah, there is no simple way to do much.

I don't think the Nazis were generally locking up tourists yet, unlike the USA.
