I had to read through an entire script for a Bridgerton episode today. For some reason I hated it intensly, but on the other hand it answered a question that's been bothering me for months; I can now safely say I'm just as bad at remembering European names as I am with Chinese.
On an unrelated note - I just read up on the Peterloo Massacre.

Hm. I realised I want a bad(ish) c-drama. My life is so full of turmoil I don't want to be shaken or moved, I just want a story. Sword and Fairy seems to fit the bill. Unless the female lead irritate the heck of me I'll stick with this one.

Heh! I had the miniature version of this problem today; I heard something on the porch and went to let in the cat - only to startle a doe who ran away over the yard. The cat returned after about an hour, and why the deer thought my entrance was interesting we'll never know 😄

Suffering c-drama hangover after Douluo Continent. It looks like I've watched everything I want to see on Viki, save for the end of Parallel World and Ancient Detective. The latter lacks channel manager so it's out of reach. Debating whether it's worth paying for an iQIYI...

I just _can't_ with the Scheming Scorn Woman trope. I hate it with the fire of a thousand suns. Both because the behaviour itself is mean, but also because it's such a stinky depiction of women. And I can't in any way see what the appeal is to keep a trope like that in a story. It's just ugly!
I need to see if I can find a written summary of the episodes online, because I can't watch beyond this point.

My problem with pictures on my blog has developed to "slog research on the web". Since it'll take a while I might as well post the question here:
Had anyone else had troubles with pictures on their wordpress blog, namely that the alt-text shows up, but not the pictures themselves? Any solution? (Neither TwentyTwentyThree nor Hestia works, currently.)
Whatever bug it is, it's eaten pictures that previously showed up fine.
