Here's what I need to make: a nostr daemon. A small relay like thing that runs on local machine and caches posts. Then a browser extension that will let webpages query the posts from the extension. Then I make a website that doesn't connect to any relays directly, it only talks to the daemon via the extension.
That way I won't lose my stuff on every new page. All webpages will be able to query that daemon.

Why are there so many `kind`s? Doesn't make no sense to me, why do different kinds of messages need their own kind? It fractures the experience, I go to flotilla and it's sending kind 17 or something and it's nowhere on my feed now, even though it looked just like a normal message.
The experience is as if using "login with facebook" on different forums, except I have the added burden of managing my login keys myself.

When I have a difficult question, even if I know that GPT is gonna hallucinate at me I still ask GPT and treat is as "good enough" truth. Searching the web will just get me GPT generated blog posts anyway, and those are even worse. Searching for credible sources is too time consuming.

Rather than NIP-07, I think each client should get its own derived key and that key would be sent & stored server side. Then you could just have regular login flows. Trust would be needed but as the xpriv holder you should be able to invalidate keys.
In short, the current signing system sucks, it's not nearly user friendly enough.

Torrent tracker RARBG was closed. I don't know if there's a shortage of torrent trackers, but running a tracker on nostr might be an opening. I think it may be illegal in a lot of places, though. At least I assume so, because there's no big time fediverse torrent tracker.

Nutritional science is so biased toward meat eaters... On a plant based diet, it's so difficult to know what to believe.
I cannot tell if high protein is bad for longevity on a vegan diet, or not. Some studies say it's bad for carnies, but is that because they reduce meat consumption, or is it really the protein? yep, content quality on bsky is likely high exactly because of restricted access.
It still gets a lot of posts, however. So in that way it seems to be doing very well. And gatekeeping access _could_ be thought of as a feature, even on an otherwise decentralized platform (which it isn't atm, though).

What I did on the firenostr app could work. In essence, relays are like servers on discord, except that you may toggle multiple on at any given time.
* People already know how a sidebar works in this setting, based on discord/telegram.

Delegating the payment part of zapping to server side would improve the desktop flow quite a bit. Meaning backend would pay zaps for you and you'd deposit to a custodial wallet for that purpose.
