shipped a bunch of physical IVPN voucher cards to amazon to test the concept. first impression was 'amazon wtf part of the problem' with this project, but it makes sense to top up through them, as your payment method will be removed from your IVPN account. amazon won't know the voucher code, we don't know who you are when you unlock it - the way it should be.

Excellent summary Seth, glad you took this path. I learned a lot from you about Monero and benefited greatly. Re: Bitcoin, Points 2 and 5 specifically were very important to me personally and for us as a business. Pushed us to increase our focus on Bitcoin (shifting from earlier XMR priority) and coming up with projects to contribute + going to meetups/conferences to learn and build relationships. The upside is tremendous, failure is catastrophic given the potential, and there is a lot each of us can do to contribute.

i'm using Iris on desktop (iris.to) and it has the feature and used it before, I don't see the posts in my feed. not sure if all relays/clients actually honor it.

#[0] hey! I set up a profile on the web (iris) for this Nostr account. I'm now adding nsec to Damus - npub matches, by my account details I see on the web are not populated. if I create a fresh account and search for this npub I see profile/following etc. so the relays picked it up. is this to be expected, did I fuck up along the way? thanks!

this past couple of months at IVPN we came up with projects that 1. improve the VPN service, onboarding and UX for Bitcoiners (eg. quick signup) 2. help general Bitcoin adoption and privacy (eg. a federation). we have a couple of things in the pipeline, but if you have any ideas or feedback I'm here to chat.
