Now that I can create personal mobile apps, the issue is that I'm locked in the Apple infra which makes it much harder to run your own apps. Android is far easier.
Any advice? A Testflight account? A real dev account and just submit and hope the app gets approved? #nevent1q…f6t5

As global/uncurated feeds are becoming full of AI slop, I choose to scale down and interact only with my WoT, my family being the first one. #nevent1q…mmz2

I'm gonna write a little social network + chat server and client for my family, invite-only. And I think Nostr is an overkill for it, I don't need its advantages. Run the server on a cheap VPS, pair client with server and off you go.
But I'm tired of this and that app being blocked in different countries, p2p messengers failing all the time. Not sustainable for my mom. A simple Twitter-like timeline + group chat is all we need as a family.
I'll open-source it, too, maybe someone else will need it.

The best way is to use a no-KYC swap service. sideshift.ai allows for swaps up to $30k. Unless you mean with fiat? Then use HodlHodl.
As for hardware wallets, Jade has the best support for Liquid. For smaller amounts, Blockstream or Aqua wallet is good enough.

In a world where everything is a psyop, you may want to lean only on your senses: what you see, hear and feel.
But soon enough, even that will be difficult. Holographic projection, advanced haptics, neural interfaces and environmental AR will eventually make “seeing is believing” obsolete.
What do you trust then?

As a competitor to OpenClaw, Hermes positions itself as an agent that remembers everything about you and gets better with time. After a month of using it, I found it to be no better at all. Perhaps, you need to spend a lot of energy fine-tuning its modus operandi, but I have better things to do as much as I like tinkering with stuff like that.

2026-05-24 13:13:11 GMT

- reply

Hermes, which is supposed to have long-term memory, keeps forgetting basic information all the time, replacing it with bullshit very confidently. Imagine, it also runs autonomously. You're screwed.
In a simple question/answer chat with projects, you can at least keep a custom system prompt as a summary and it will always remembers things at least pertaining to that project.
So autonomous agents are a bit farther away than we thought, regardless of the hype.

2026-05-24 10:15:11 GMT

AI "agents" aren't taking your job just yet. They need to be managed, monitored and corrected all the time.
OpenClaw was pure hype with no substance. Hermes' "permanent memory" doesn't work.
I'm going back to using standard LLM chat apps where I can organize chats by projects. That seems to work the best at the moment.

2026-05-24 08:19:25 GMT
