I went vegan in part due to my ED years ago (around 2017-2018), but these days, even though that's mostly under control, it would have to be a conscious decision to switch back to eating animal products, and when you need to decide to participate in mass cruelty and slaughter, it's harder than deciding to stop participating. It has a totally different feeling, because there isn't an unknown anymore. You don't have to think "oh, but what would I eat? How would I get my protein? What if I'm traveling? What will my family say? What will my friends say? What will I eat on holidays?" After you've been vegan for years, all of those questions are answered. There's no "what about" anymore. You know what you can eat and you know how to do it on your own budget. You know how to respond to people. You know how to plan your diet.
