Mondays 1-2pm EST npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux she's clearly on a fruit kick. We kinda lucked out with this kid, didn't we? npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux sigh. I asked her to compost that before I left. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux and now she has dipped into my lunch supplies! npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I need to open a Welsh Bear Bar called Plaid Cymru. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux That's who owns it! We stopped in here a few weeks ago and it's a really cute space. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux RE: https://mastodon.art/@furryluna/117355883961087590 npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux , do you think the boys would help? They are registered voters, but also young enough to have relevant, actual youth experience. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I just saw there's a movie out with Ethan Hawke and Russell Crowe. Now I just want to see them drawn as Ethan Hawk and Russell Crow. Anyone with talent want a commission? #art npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux So, what's the Metacritic score on this sleazy movie? npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux A bee went up my wide pant leg and didn't stop until things got too snug, whereupon it stung me. So I dropped my pants in the back garden and tried to shake it out, but to no avail. It eventually came out after I dropped them again in there kitchen, but the poor bee is now dying while I am left with several stings in the up close and personal region. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux #SilentSunday npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I helped my friend say goodbye to his elderly dog today. It was difficult* but I'm really glad I was there for him and able to get him out for food after since I knew he wouldn't eat otherwise. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux my dishwasher is @npub1wg8…q6l7 npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux Our HR newsletter often has a profile of a staff member. I've done it and it's just a little talk with one of their staff asking pretty general get to know you type questions. Today's newsletter asked someone "What do you love most about people?" Boy am I happy they didn't ask me that! npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I got my first roll from my Kodak Six-20 back! npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux The last vinegar pickle from the jars I brought to our local restaurant (that's how restaurants work, right?) was just consumed behind the bar. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I tasted my lacto-fermenting pickles today. Good crunch still, not too salty, light dill. I hardly taste any of the garlic I added so I think the next batch I'll add more and mince it. I'll try these again at the weekend to see where we are then. #pickle npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux [table in the back of the restaurant starts blaring party horns] npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux Cukes are under the layer of dill. Zerofux @npub1wg8…q6l7 asked for some help with this week's #inkscape video and asked it to be in BBC English. No specification on which one though. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux And end the night with a gentle skinny dipping doggy paddle around the pool. Am I doing this "vacation" thing right? npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I was really only a casual baseball observer until my Red Sox fan aunt died last year and now I feel I must take her place. It's something else I can share with my stepdad now as he and Marcia were the proper fans in the family. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux Eat your heart out, Better Homes and Gardens npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux Article title of the year: "People Already Don't Know What the Fuck I'm Saying": Nonbinary Black Womxn Perspectives on Sharing Their Gendered-Racial Identity npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux Over the past few years I've gone from what I called "kosher pescatarian" (no shellfish, fin and scale fish, avoid bottom feeders) to having some beef when I crave it, which has been when loved ones have died*, and their subsequent birth or death days. I think I shall call this Traumnivour. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I'm super lazy! I do make sure the jar is clean and HOT before packing in cabbage then pour on the brine and put it in the fridge once cool enough to hold. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux yup, that's exactly it! I usually put it in the refrigerator and try it the next day. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I didn't make this one, but it's usually salt, sugar, coriander seeds in vinegar and water. All measured with my heart. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I'm honestly surprised @npub1wg8…q6l7 didn't add pickled cabbage npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux technically there is purple cabbage under there and an orange carrot or two. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux Fresh herbs and a fancy roasting pan make me feel all French like npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux Couple of years ago I bought loads of flower bulbs intending to share them with my friend Mary-Jo. She was getting her garden back in shape since her husband died and we thought some new flowers would be a good addition. We didn't get around to it in the fall and then in December she was killed crossing the street. Today I planted everything left whether it was dried up or not. Next year I hope for surprise blooms that will make me think of my friend and smile. #gardening #grief npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux the only cheddar made in Cheddar is made with raw milk (Cheddar Gorge Cheese and it's delicious). It's not the milk, it's the oversight as this sort of thing doesn't happen in other places with raw milk cheese as a norm. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux My friend @npub1ajs…40jf, who is not active on Mastodon, made a cool tool to find PBS sites that need funding the most called Keep Media Public (keepmediapublic.org) 1/3 npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux So who wants to go yell just the right profanities to make them cry? Ave. to demand we stop all the abortin' npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X. Zerofux I went for the Lemur after seeing how light the one we got for [@Luna_vio](https://furries.club/@Luna_vio ) is. And someeone gave her a Steamdeck for her birthday so I've used that for co-op games, but for that game I like a laptop. npub1ztf5pqu2whvvy3f5ncmzh3m7snw52ps0hx75d8fhkajtrkc7s5kqmtu7nk Jen X.
