TIL: the Silver Reed Color PenGraph EB50.
While I used color pen plotters in the late 80s as part of my schoolwork and internship using AutoCAD, I never knew such things existed as pen-based printers for home use.
I would have LOVED one of these when I was younger.
I would still love to get one and maintain one today.

Being a child of the 1970s and 80s, some credit is due to PBS and its science shows during those two decades.
3-2-1-Contact remains my favorite childhood science show.
Don Herbert on Mr. Wizard taught every young child about exothermic and endothermic reactions.
Watching Carl Sagan on Cosmos was the entire reason why I applied to Cornell.

I bet a co-worker in September of 2015 that Trump would become President. I offered a $100 bill as cash and said I'd lock it in my desk until Inauguration Day. Trump became President, and my co-worker never spoke to me again.
I fear I could successfully bet $5,000 cash and not have to worry about being $5K poorer at the end of 2024.
Our nation is so angry and divided that we'd gladly cut off our own nose to spite our face.

What puzzles me:
1) Did Nikki Haley not know her audience? She gave this answer in New Hampshire. As a former New Englander, they're conservative, but not so conservative as to believe the Great Lie about South Reconstruction and the "War Between the States."
2) As the GOP piles on Nikki Haley and damns her, what makes them think Donald Trump would have answered any differently? The answer Nikki gave is the same answer most Republicans would.
