There are a lot of new features I haven’t fully used yet and don’t quite understand how they work :) For now, I’ll call them nice changes since they haven’t disrupted my user experience in a negative way.

If it is added as an extra relay rather than the only available one, it may be easier to find newcomers and hear their voices. After all, there are clients that successfully display relay feeds. Interaction may help them adapt more quickly. Imagine a welcome squad :)

I recently watched The City & The City. Since I enjoyed the novel and the New Weird genre in general, I really liked the series too. I'm looking for another similar series. Any recommendations for weird series with elements of #mystery, #crime, #fantasy, and #sciencefiction?

Shortly before my Notesnook subscription was up for renewal, they doubled their fees. Since I don't have auto-renewal, I'm affected and renewing it is currently lower on my list of priorities. Maybe I'll find a better alternative.
#Obsidian (linux and android) + local encryption for sensitive files (#gocryptfs) + #git for synchronization (Codeberg) + Droidfs to view encrypted files on mobile... What do you think? In this scenario, I'm not backing up images. My usage will be text-heavy, like notes, stories, and drafts. Obsidian's extensions also interest me. I've used it before for a while; you could say I took a break.

When I was a kid, I used to see people playing the kemençe and dancing the horon next door in skits and comedy movies/shows. Yesterday night, this absurd event happened to me personally. A lot of people in my next apartment tried to learn horon by watching videos on Youtube.

I think so. I feel like if there is a new season, it will be a spin-off. I'm not familiar with the manga, but I think the events of season 3 were the end according to the internet.

And if you automatically like notes from a certain tag, don't do it. The content I'm talking about comes from the most innocent tags possible.

We have a #Turkish poet, Can Yücel. He translated Shakespeare's "To be, or not to be" as "There is one more possibility, do you think it is to die. "
It's a great localization when you read it in Turkish: "Bir ihtimal daha var o da ölmek mi dersin"
It's too bad that when it's translated back into English, I can't convey the pleasure I got from reading it.

I agree with what you said. Even leaving Blossom aside, anything put on the internet can be easily copied. In this respect, no such media host will offer complete privacy. But it's good that people have even minimal control over their own media.
For example, I was thinking "I may not be able to completely delete my notes, but at least I can delete the image I uploaded to different hosts if I regret it later and somehow disconnect it from my profile". If there was a feature like you said, I could upload some images like that. For most images, it's important to know that they won't be deleted later.

I think this question will affect my answer: Can other hosts copy my uploaded images without my request?
If it works with the same logic as Nostr, the answer is obvious 😁 I just thought this part was more static for some reason. Like pubkey control.

In honor of Amethyst's update (or rather, it came to my mind when I saw all those relays), I added a vpn to internal tor. So far everything seems to be fine.
Since I'm using Adguard for Android, I'm trying out Adguard VPN. I'm also open to Socks5 proxy alternatives that are reliable, privacy friendly and won't break my budget, as well as anything you can tell me about Adguard VPN.
(I just want to be able to vpn into the tor network. I've used more robust alternatives when I only used vpn.)

As time went on, I always switched to a more durable flavor. I was tinkering and breaking it when it wasn't really necessary, or updates over time would break it. I recently switched from Opensuse Tumbleweed to Fedora Silverblue. Fedora Silverblue (Gnome) is worth a try if Appimags and Flatpaks are enough (they are enough for me). For KDE, Fedora Kinoite.

I thought about translating the stories. I was going to start with the mini stories and see if I could do it, then gradually move on to the longer ones. Unfortunately, I gave up before I could start properly. I was intimidated by the writing style I was using. At the time I felt like I couldn't handle the translation.
I can give a cursory description of my writing by giving examples of New Weird and Slipstream writers. I also like narrative and language games. It's really hard to reach such a readership in Turkish, especially if no one including publishing house can spare an advertising budget. Translating what I write into English can be useful in this respect.
From the beginning, Nostr seemed like a good reason to do it. Maybe this time I'll make it 🤞

It seems that #blossom file hosts don't interact with each other very well yet. When I try to mirror images with sakura.oxtr.dev, bouquet.slidestr.net or Primal I always get an error.
cdn.satellite.earth didn't let me upload any images except Amethyst.
sovbit.host allows me to mirror images to nostrcheck.me if I select it as primary host. The opposite is not possible, it cannot be selected as mirror target. When I set it from Primal, as far as I understand, the images appear as different blobs.
blossom.band (free), again cannot be set as mirror. It also does not accept images as mirror from other sources.
So I found the solution to upload images to three hosts at the same time with Sakura, but I guess it's not as easy as uploading from within the app and synchronizing with other hosts every once in a while.

I wrote my first #introduction almost two years ago. I guess I should write a new one for a new npub.
I am a #literature fan in my mid-thirties and I have a few stories and a short novel published in #Turkish. My dream of writing and sharing has never left me, even when I couldn't do it.
My favorite genres to read, write and watch are #newweird, #fantasy, #sciencefiction, #surreal, #psychodelic and #horror. Of course, this is only part of the list. The ones at the top.
In this account, you will find excerpts from the books I read, the music I listen to, the photos I take from the places I visit, and little snippets of situations I want to share. Of course this is not a promise, there will be other things that come to mind.
It's still great to be here!
