The context in which a tool is created becomes the context in which it is used, the features it has, and the individuals using it. Doesn't mean that there aren't deviations, but your audience calcifies just as the perception of the individuals watching you use the tool calcifies from the starting context.
Change the context, and the tool with the same mechanics creates different use cases and different users.

Sikth - Mermaid Slur
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwC7Y1_C9oQ
Is this the desperate mile?
Are the seagulls hungry still?
Did the pond run out of water?
Turn into a motorway?
Did the forest see itself slaughtered
And modelled to decay?
Did the kitten pur?
Did the mermaid slur?
I can't see a wind of wind of a way
We wander then thunder
Winding road old cold abode
Under mountain snow and hollow skies
Where is the grey but to survive first you must be alive
Pinch your skin and look within
Find a thought and a fish finger
Baked beans upon your plate
It's gotten late again
Where did the wilderness weep tonight?
Do. You. Know. The. Way. Out?
Do you know the way out?

Oh, yeah he's definitely got an interesting musical fingerprint 🤣
but what made it click, for me, was in finding the connection between the story he's telling and the sounds he's producing. Definitely not a comfy or easy tale, so the sounds follow 😅
Who knows what's rehersed, intentional improv, accidental things that somehow work with what he says, in the style he likes. But there's something I'm in awe of - how what sounds like "beginner mistakes and noises" have become more of an explicit phrasing and mood to accompany what he's saying
