I think it’s a pointless debate that 11 of the 15 Liquid federation operators intend to collude to steal the funds (and in doing so intentionally destroy their reputation in the industry) but I know some people can never be convinced. Show me an L2 that doesn’t have some level of tradeoff or systemic trust involved to keep it running. I’ll support whatever bitcoin-native solution emerges, and in the meantime I’m going to keep building this when I have more downtime, and see if anyone wants to help.

Maybe, but Liquid works now, it’s not something we have to wait for. There is already a complete scripting language for it called Simplicity that was released a year ago. The architecture isn’t even the thing holding it up, it’s that someone has to supply the data, designate the oracle, and maintain the thing.
