When someone says, “ I heard this one thing and I think I might think this thing now”,
I want to try harder to be the kind of person who says, “ oh that’s interesting. I think I might think this thing because of these other things, but that’s cool.”
The whole “I’m an expert who must prove you wrong and change your mind” approach is so… teenage basement dweller. Especially since really, no one owes us an explanation for anything.

I looked into Silent Payments. It's neat.
I do have one thought where someone can sting you (ish) with this (if I understood it right):
(Let's assume I'm a jackass government mr.joe)
- I can send 0.12345678 BTC to a silent address
- Look up the same amount sent to get a public address that the receiver controls
- At this point, I can harass the receiver about that exact money.
- I could also wait and see if the receiver may combine all of their coins from all of their addresses into one and start questioning/harassing them about it, which may lead to confirming all of what they have received from the silent address. (The receiver may not do this, and if they do they can play dumb and say "I didn't want my money so I picked a random address and sent them money there").
- I'm not saying SP is bad, in fact, I think it's a great layer and I'd want to use it. I'm just sharing my thoughts/concerns.

Let them play their stupid games.
I completely agree with you perhaps, this is the time to settle the house and do the onchain cleaning.. there will always be a new class of retarded, and also, in the end, as time goes, block spaace will be the same, while a pletore of new user will need "to settle their houses in the future".

Here's your summary from What’s behind the ‘alarming’ rate of NYPD officers leaving the force? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EVJ4dNZleI) on the Fox News channel:
**TLDR:** The alarming rate of NYPD officers leaving the force is attributed to the demonization of police officers post-George Floyd, difficulty in the current policing environment, and challenges in hiring replacements.
1. Post-George Floyd, police officers were demonized and vilified, leading to a significant number leaving the force.
2. The current policing environment is more challenging than ever, making the job less desirable for potential recruits.
3. The NYPD is facing difficulties in hiring replacements for the officers leaving, resulting in longer response times and a potential decline in the quality of officers.

The better the CPU is, the better it's going to be at the algorithm. But I-9s can be purchased by regular human beings too. And they are just CPUs. So again, a government doesn't know whether you are buying an I-9 to mine Monero, or if you are buying an I-9 to render video. An Asik is a very, very specialized piece of hardware that only does one thing well, and since they are all made in China, their import could be very easily curtailed. In order to stop Monero mining, what are you going to do, ban CPUs?

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately, my career is medical and even though it’s recreational in my state, since it’s still not federally legal, all the hospitals still test 😭
I know it’s gonna be tough especially since my husband still smokes, but I kind of want to try it for me anyways. I started walking daily, which really helps my mood and I’m trying to avoid stress in general temporarily so I’m not forcing myself to create (which is so funny that you said that, almost like you read my mind). I think the first few weeks are gonna be kind of sucky.
I have heard that some people experience positives too like more energy, so I’m trying to hope for the best, but holy shit is this sober thing weird (I don’t drink either hahaha)

tbf i dont know how it works, i just know that it does. Similar to the fact that I don't know how a car works, but I can get in a car and drive it across the country. It would take somebody way smarter than me to explain that. Also, I know that the Tor Project used a derivative of it for their proof of work, algorithm, for accessing hidden services.

I just randomly went to a store and on the counter, just before paying, I see all the usual payement logo, including AliPay, WeChat and shit and then Bitcoin (and Ethereum) in the end of the long list. Of course I asked to pay in Bitcoin, but the guy just said: sorry it's not working. Imagine my incommensurable deception.
