The reason I like remote signing, whether via Android intents or just relays, is that it limits the authority of the client dev to exploit the user's nsec, either intentionally or unintentionally.
Any client that doesn't support remote signing of any kind forces users into a high-trust relationship. The price of eliminating that trust is to be a good enough developer to handle async signing properly.
I took a brief look, and the problem I saw in the Wisp codebase was that there were sync issues with Android intents and decrypting DMs. I think because it's managed by Claude, untangling that logic will ultimately be impossible.
