I was 15 and lucky enough to be third row for White Zombie, Reverend Horton Heat, Babes in Toyland, and Kyuss at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre.
I remember going out before the show and buying Kyuss records and just being blown away.
Years later, in 2000, I got to hang out with Josh Homme and Queens of the Stone Age when they played an in-store gig at Magic Platter while they were on the Ozzfest tour.
Josh and the band signed my copy of Rated R. I remember sitting cross-legged on the floor in this tiny space, so close to his stompboxes I could have reached out and touched them.
Such a good time. Good memories.

Republicans are always asking what if that aborted baby was the next Einstein or going to cure cancer. Somehow they never ask if that toddler being arrested and deported by ICE without any legal representation or adult lined or to care for them where they end up is going to end up trafficked instead of curing cancer or being the next Einstein.

Interesting. I've been considering pellets as my more sovereign winter heat. 10% or less of the electric use of my heat pumps so battery and solar goes a lot farther during extended outages and low winter production.
My specific thinking was that pellets are a waste product. That means theoretically less competition to buy them like heating oil could be driving an Amazon tractor trailer for example. I'm making assumptions that those affects will make it more stable and available.
Of course insulation and air sealing also buys comfortable time without power and I'm working on that too.
