So, if her father is a mechanic and her brother is a master baker, she's interested in the manager of the shop, but not the fry cook. If her father is an engineer and her brother is a lawyer, she's open to dating a chef at a fancy restaurant, or someone who owns a small chain of such shops, but not the manager or the fry cook.
And so on.
Besides, if he is much wealthier than you are, then he'll either use you for entertainment and then marry someone from his own class, or he'll always treat you with disdain and suspicion.

I work with nerdy girls and they try so hard to overlook all of his foibles and faux pas that it's really cute. It's sometimes months years between one date and the next. Or they're 25 and no one has ever even asked them out, even if they're beautiful.

Got a very stark reminder today of why I stopped doing shitty drugs and got my life in some semblance of order.
Which feels mildly hypocritical of me to say because, I'm arguably a bit of a degenerate in a lot of senses. But I'm not smoking crack.....and I don't get in petty fights with friends because I'm too whacked out of my goddamn gourd to make sense of reality.

It's been over a decade since I've attempted these, so... My memory on the buns are fuzzy. Some places have bun steamers, so they aren't stiff as packing peanuts, but then you run the risk of them being soggy... That's worse. 🤣

There's good and bad humor. I recently tried watching the new Avatar series that's coming out, but I couldn't watch it after a couple of episodes because the humor was forced and the show and story itself just felt hollow.

Yep, those are the heat plates.
It's a pretty simple mechanism. Plates just heat up and you smash the material between the plate.
One thing I wonder about is if the age of first marriage will eventually decline, again. It's been creeping up and up and up, and the reason given has always been primarily economic (ya gotta "make it" before you "put a ring on it").
But making it has become a more difficult and uncertain task, so why wait? Marriage is the cheaper, more economically-resilient lifestyle. Easier to marry and then try to make it, now that everything costs an arm and a leg and job markets disappear overnight.
The Church used to keep the records. The French Revolution changed that.

Don't have to wait for curing to figure out what to press. First test press of my chicken and waffles. Tasted pretty good as a binger, even without it being fully cured. So I pressed it. Did a proper low temperature dab on a fresh nail and I'm pretty happy with the result.
Got a test press one of every plant, figure out which ones I like to smoke the best and then I'm just going to press the whole damn plant and have nice golden oil.
