In 2018 I met a team lead of a pattern recognition and ML group with serious funding at an oil company. After 3 years of work they'd achieved >90% accuracy on automated geological layer picking for 3D model building. It was amazing. Yesterday due to a little curiosity, I vibe coded one up with 70ish accuracy in around 6 hours. Would obviously not have been so easy to do without all the skills etc I've been building up but still, getting left behind on productivity is a choice and now might just be the time to choose wisely

And proceeds to act on that fake news instead of addressing it with me. So gives me the cold shoulder, is rude etc. and I'm like wtf is going on then after 7 hours she finally decided to confront me.
