Ist jetzt online, v0.10.1
For those of you who remember the epic adventures of Flaco the Ungovernable Owl, there’s a new documentary coming out at the end of July.
They’re having a free world premiere inside Central Park. I’ll definitely be there. 🦉💜

Ein mal neu laden, wenn du die Web-Version benutzt.
Here it is: https://npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6.nsite.pyramid.fiatjaf.com/
But all the blobs and nsite manifests have to be published directly to the #pyramid for it to work. A natural anti-abuse mechanism.
No lies there. I just say it would simplify UX and nudge people to get off zero when it comes to simplest interactions.
I don't trust his website more than his npub
Considering the Input
I've carefully analyzed the user's initial input. It seems they're providing a title, specifically, "Three Lines in a Field: When it's time to offer more room," along with an outline indicating three paragraphs. This suggests a request for a writing piece. I'm focusing on dissecting the implied constraints and goals within this brief prompt.
Analyzing the Concept
I'm now delving into the implicit intent behind the title. The user seems to want an outline for a three-paragraph piece exploring the metaphor suggested by "Three Lines in a Field." I am particularly concerned with the transition when the lines wrap, and how that relates to needing more "room." The persona constraints, especially the British spelling and directness, are firmly in mind. I am ready to begin generating content.
Outlining the Structure
I have created three paragraphs. I am making it conversational, without using bullets or headers. The first paragraph is about the interface change into full-screen mode after hitting a third line. The second explores the design choice, and I am drawing parallels with physical architectural and object design. Now I am ready for the third, concluding paragraph.
Expanding the Narrative
I'm now integrating the idea of human cognitive capacity. I'm aiming to link the UI behavior to the human experience of needing "room" for complex thoughts. The software is to respect this cognitive shift without requiring manual intervention. I have reviewed the first paragraph, and it's looking promising.
Okay, my brothers and sisters, I've got something for us. The new #NoorNote release ships with a brand-new addon: Nostr Majlis.
It contains 3 mini-apps: Salah (Prayer Times), Hijri Holidays and Community Dhikr.
Salah
You can pick your preferred calculation method from a long list and then enter your desired location. No GPS tracking, I hate that too. You set it yourself and it stays with you.

Further down there are reminders you can configure, and even a widget that shows up in the sidebar.

The reminders run in 3 environments: in the app itself, as a system notification on macOS and Linux, and on GrapheneOS/Android. For the last two you have to allow notifications once.

Holidays
Special Islamic days, browsable 3 years back and 10 years ahead. Also with an alarm, so you don't miss anything.

Community Dhikr
Anyone can kick off a virtual dhikr round, and maybe earn a few hasanat for encouraging good deeds. You simply write which dhikr should be done collectively and how many times, and whoever wants to join adds their own count until the goal is reached.

This mainly runs over the relays noornode.nostr1.com and bitcoinmajlis.nostr1.com. So you need to be registered there / be on their whitelist to submit anything there. Otherwise you can unfortunately only read. npub17veg2gt7ja4dnjhs23jyttvpqlde3ajevlxuumxwghnqmgqwuv4q78cc5z and npub1uzfp6cgwue2njm86cmyeq7m26y0n58w72acq98sjsnnv4c87002s6857h3, do you think we could do something for people who aren't on your whitelist but want to take part? For example, grant read and write rights only for event kind 30078?
Otherwise I've also implemented the requests from npub1hxp75sgvu36q2xavu4067md89tdaeqcjr0dt2nxaar2m82cjv6esznw6td and npub15km3qhvda457dx6e2l0t2mlspvmydzjwn4yxnmqwl2unsuy5qleskrswrh, which you can see in the release notes.

Inb4 this could be a long note: I just have a feeling that long notes are polished articles - these things are more like horny mind-babbling after a few too many glasses of wine, getting caught on "paper" by pure accident (or sheer luck, depending on your perspective). And moreover, I often just start writing this down, and a few moments later it's sooo long (never heard Her say that 😅🤔😶🌫️).

You can either import an existing mnemonic, such as from Blitz or Wallet of Satoshi, or generate a default wallet which is derived from your nostr keys, and loads instantly after you log out and back in.
Forbidden city, one or two generations after being liberated by "righteous" forces. Inside its walls, a small harem enclave still resides. Not that the new overlords aren't above enslaving fellow brethren - it's more complicated. They were bred and raised to have above-normal body temperature, fast metabolism, and limited sweating, so they have utility as the "human" equivalent of the Peruvian naked breed that warmed the upper-class former inhabitants of the complex. Since they were seen as tools, the "alternative" use of them wasn't seen as infidelity, but rather as a sign of a healthy lifestyle, matching the nobility level and expectations.
Now, they can roam free - but with undermined immunity (a side effect of the selection), their lifespan in the outside world is limited at best.
Enter a young aristocrat heir who went against the grain and, instead of nurturing some babies for her premeditated husband as a good girl should do, nurtures science and other things so beautifully dangerous in women's hands. (Oh, and of course she wears a tight ponytail and round glasses - I am not above clichés, they are clichés for a reason after all.) She gets her foot in as assistant to some respected astronomer (who supports her cause, like an uncle, not in a perverse way), but soon becomes determined to help the living heaters.
Few unresolved questions, though. Do they even want to be helped? Did they return to the old ways of offering their bodies because they like it, or because they don't know any better? Is she hypocritical if she thinks cockwarming is degrading for the bottom, while she actually finds that having a caressing tongue between her legs trumps any kind of background music while working on great things? Is she fighting for them to help them, or just to prove it's possible to shake off the shackles of generational predetermination? And is it really that bad being different if you want it? She wanted to get educated and risked being a minority freak ostracized by a quite substantial majority. And they seem to be happy in having found their purpose - quite a feat that most of the prudent world hasn't achieved. And finally, can you really ponder these things while having all your carnal needs (and some) fulfilled before you even open your eyes to the rising sun?
I know, run-of-the-mill #writing, but I still like the shape of the idea.
It is. Don't under estimate that.
Joke’s on us, bitcoin is colorblind.
Recharged my Kindle after a while and read some more of Invisible Cities by Calvino. The episodic nature kind of made me think about doing #writing in these snippets in some coherent form. Then read about its structure and deeper meaning, and apparently most of it went over my head. Granted, I read it with long intermezzos of life happening and I still haven't finished, but still.
Ok, alles umgesetzt für dich.
Zu 2. gibt es jetzt in den UI-Settings einen neuen Layout-Modus "Right Pane (RSS Mode)"
Kommt alles im nächsten Release. 0.9.12
Please please please, stay low untill my DCA hits.
#bitcoin
Oh. I'm just making uneducated guesses based on knowing Bitcoin barely gives me what I want
Max pain is never giving #58Kgang their meme again.
Once upon a time the bottoms never used to be lower than the previous tops. 2022 broke that trend because of FTX. Are the current market conditions today somehow relatively worse?

Sorry man, but hitting the same USD prices we were at in 2022 is some actual bullshit.
Tell me you don’t love how it uses private mute lists and you can also manage those on #Mutable.
How close to 58k can you be.

Realy rare sight to see it captured on video. Or in any way for that matter.
The big brain play is to ask everyone to stop and then you don't stop. 😜
Going forward I mean. What I see here is btcxau only going up from here, somewhere soon. Hence the "hopium".
Cool thing about mulberries is that they just start pumping out berries from a very young age, without it seeming to inhibit their growth much.

This is another action right out of the AI 2027 problem playbook. Absolutely wild.

Lol it’s wild 😂 There are a handful of very narrow-minded people here.
Syncing the lightning graph entirely over Tor on a new node is painful. More so than an IBD.
