I’m glad backup tools exist but we shouldn’t have to rely on them to keep Nostr functioning.
Clients should have their basics covered, add the advanced features afterwards.

Bitcoin should teach time preference. That includes trying to add value and live within means. Save and spend but current market going to teach a lot of people that it's use to back loans was only ever a means to offer printed fiat as a carrot for people to risk their real money. Each cycle has a lesson. I wonder if that's the main one this time.
I never left x but I was suspended for quite a while, and Nostr was my only way to communicate with the world.
I use that lesson that me, @nprofile…xp7y, @nprofile…nksn, and many others have learned that we need alternatives to protect us from centralization.
