Galaxy's Alex Thorn says he is lowering his odds of the Clarity Act passing in 2026 from 75% to 60%.
He says the problem is not the bill, which cleared committee 15-9 with bipartisan support. It is the Senate calendar.
Thorn argues the bill must pass both chambers before August recess at the end of July. After that, midterm election dynamics make fall passage unlikely. The Senate lost a week to the anti-weaponization fund and FISA reauthorization failed last night, consuming next week's floor time.
Ethics provisions remain unresolved and he expects two Republican no votes from Hawley and Paul, meaning the bill needs at least 9 Democrats on the floor.
Without a credible floor commitment from leadership in the next two to three weeks, Thorn says the path narrows to a post-recess effort in September, which he is cautious about.

the relative underperformance of bitcoin since the 2021 top makes this cycle/bear market feel just as brutal as a 85% drawdown lol we’re getting absolutely abused by AI

Monero has the third highest hash rate, the fourth best performance on return, and is one of the most widely accepted currencies on Multi-coin markets like https://shopinbit.com/ , & https://coincards.com/ where it even outperforms Bitcoin, and is the primarily accepted currency of The Dark net.
By almost every metric, Monero is just as good as Bitcoin (if not better), or at the very worst case is a “Digital Silver” to “Bitcoin’s Digital Gold”.

To be fair, they probably walked everywhere and very far (it was an empire, after all).
They typically retired in their 40s (meaning the bulk of that was probably as young, healthy, well fed men - they got better healthcare and nutrition for being soldiers) And the average lifespan of a roman man was about 40 anyway. Soldiers lived longer probably from the food and healthcare, but not much longer.
So it's tradeoffs.
I would expect that if Iran is going to continue charging fees, Trump would not advertise that lol

does this mean Iran can continue charging for insurance in the Strait? or are they completely opening it?

I hope he beats the cancer.
Why aren’t we putting data centers in the arctic
A few weeks ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer.
He’s a conventional doctor, 36 years. But he’s the complete opposite of health and wellness, and has spent much of his life battling addictions, countless bad habits, and eating the worst you can imagine. This diagnosis did not surprise me, although the world-renounced oncologist said it came from a virus and UV light (lol zero personal accountability)
He’s spent so much of his life enslaved by centralized healthcare genuinely wanting to help serve people but being trained to stay too busy, miss out on so much of his family’s life, and push pills. In January he started working for one of the wealthiest hospital systems in the country, built upon immense greed and extraction. Some of the top level people at this hospital system making millions.
Upon his cancer diagnosis, his employer fired him. Yes illegal. Against HIPPA and disability discrimination. Another example of how healthcare really cares about your health. His treatment plans would make him more of a liability than an asset, so termination was a better deal. Businesses is business.
His termination freed him. He has cancer and he’s never been more alive. He put two middle fingers up to that system and said I’m building my own businesses now with my daughters. He’s been in flow state ever since, spending all of his time outside in the sun doing manual labor, construction projects, landscaping, networking in the community. He’s overflowing with joy and love and excitement, and he’s already as tan as me. It’s beautiful to see.
Although we’ve had our differences, our struggles, his connection to God has been the resilience that has carried him so far in life. It reminds me of the old Italian man, who smokes and drinks and lives to 100 because of joy. His faith is unwavering, it is full trust. It is the comfort of knowing you are fully seen, held, supported and protected, and if you don’t deny God, he won’t deny you.
And that everything happens in divine timing for divine reasons. Every event, every circumstance, is really just an opportunity. What are you going to do about it? My dad has always maintained a childlike wonder in life, it’s where I get some of my “delusion” and dreamer tendencies. But God doesn’t put a dream in your heart that you’re not capable of achieving.
Any additional prayers for today would be appreciated as he is in surgery, but he texted me that he was gonna hit the hotel pool and jump in the hot tub right before😆🤣
Strength and health to all y’all today, have a great day🙏🏼

The treasury play was worse for Bitcoin than any other shitcoin in history.
At best (MSTR) you are down ~60% from ATH and at worst 99%.
New entrants were told “amplified bitcoin” or whatever fucking retarded phrase they used.
These people have been all but wiped out and in their minds it’s bitcoins fault.
the orange ties pivoted the prevailing bitcoin narrative from freedom money to saylors meme coin and now people are rightfully asking why they shouldnt just buy ai stocks instead
the plot was coopted but will be found again
stack real bitcoin, not that fake shit

A farmer dies in April 2026.
His son inherits the farm. The farm has been in the family since 1847.
The farm consists of: 300 acres of grazing pasture, a farmhouse built in 1892, a barn, a milking parlour, two tractors of varying ages, a Land Rover that runs about 70% of the time, and a herd of 180 Hereford-cross cattle.
On paper, the farm is worth approximately £3.2 million. This is because land near him has been bought recently by a London hedge fund looking for carbon credits, which has dragged the comparable value of every field within forty miles upward to a number nobody local can justify.
In cash, the farm produces a profit of about £28,000 a year in a good year. In a bad year it loses money. The son also works as a fencing contractor three days a week to keep the operation viable.
The inheritance tax bill on a £3.2 million estate, even at the reduced 20% rate, comes to approximately £140,000 after the increased threshold is applied. The son does not have £140,000. The son has never had £140,000. The son has £4,200 in his current account and an overdraft.
The son sells 60 acres to a developer to pay the tax. The developer puts solar panels on the 60 acres. The remaining herd cannot be sustained on the reduced land. The herd is sold. The barn becomes a holiday let.
A different family eats Brazilian beef this Christmas without knowing why the price went up.
The Treasury collects £140,000.
The land never produces British food again.
