That is interesting, thank you. It seemed like the vast majority of my friends from school went to university (in 1994)... those who didn't seem to also be the ones who've never left our home town in Suffolk and have already paid off their mortgages.

Does the increase in saturation lead to dilution of the value for employment? Not all jobs need a degree: mine certainly doesn't, but I don't underestimate the value of getting away from home at 18 and living in Cardiff for 3 years
