what was lost was the only easy api which could keysend boosts and stream sats.
Whilst their API was public they largely made it irrelevant when they stopped their wallet service.
In addition, specifically affecting me, even though I set up an Alby hub on my own lightning node, I couldn't use apps like Podverse and Castomatic because they geo block Israel.
They completly screwed podcasting 2.0 and made it harder for me to implement my version of their api.
