I think that fountain_app (npub1v5u…n0v5) by merryoscar (npub1unm…d0j2) is the first app to be better than any other app out there, BECAUSE it is a nostr app.

I don't care about rando-commentors under YouTube videos, AirBNB stays or Amazon products.

But I do care about what the people I follow think. That is why I follow them.

Tying what was once walled gardens of comments, to one main social graph I think is one of those innovations where the lowering of friction passes a tipping point.

I want to talk to LynAlden (npub1a2c…w83a) about a naval (npub1n5r…0ngn) podcast, or jack (npub1sg6…f63m) about The Rest Is History, or PABLOF7z (npub1l2v…ajft) about Linux Unplugged.

I also want to find new people to follow, and the comments under a podcast that really inspired me is a great place to fine new follow.
