If yesterday was my recent favorite day backpacking, today was the scariest. I’m safe but I don’t love situations where one slip could be the end. I wasn’t able to complete a gap on the PCT so I decided my best course of action was to backtrack out of the wilderness vs take my chances on the PCT along Three Fingered Jack. Will come back when the snow melts. Great adventure though.
