I made a terrible, terrible mistake last night.
Context: I have not done any formal voice training but I’ve been trying to incorporate suggestions from YouTube videos into my everyday voice. I think I still sound incredibly nasal, with a low resonance and in short I think I sound like shit.
So late last night, just before going to bed, I made the mistake of recording my voice and playing it back.
I sound NOTHING like I was imagining in my head. My eepy brain: “let’s explore this at length”.
