Ok, you want to be pedantic? There is no distro named CentOS. The legacy distro from the CentOS project was named CentOS Linux. The widely accepted shorthand is to refer to the distro from the CentOS project as just CentOS. That used to be CentOS Linux, now it's CentOS Stream. It's not just me saying it, it's what happens in practice. Many people refer to it as CentOS 9, not CentOS Stream 9. I'm merely embracing that reality.
