Can bioengineered plants save us from #ClimateChange and air pollution? Hard no.
But there is huge untapped potential in optimizing plants that can help mitigate some of the harms we seem so determined to cause, which is pretty cool.
There are already plants on the market (in the US, at least) that filter air "equivalent of up to 30 regular houseplants in terms of air purification." And that's the tip of the iceberg of unlocking the potential of plants.
