I read a LOT of neuroscience papers. YES, they can explain a great deal. They know when you're hungry, and when you're full. They know when you are sleeping, they know when you're awake. How much of a stretch is it to know if you are bad or good?
And of course I can't prove you're wrong. It's the Flying Spaghetti Monster argument. You can't prove it doesn't exist, but that doesn't mean it DOES.
