Dreaming of a billboard campaign for our local transit system…
A series of close-up shots of bumpers of real cars around #Portland — beaters, fancy-pants rides, the works — all with bumper stickers that say:
“My other car is 650 buses, 145 light rail cars, and 19 streetcars”

Very happy I made it to the last-ever 11ty Meetup, featuring
🔡 An excellent talk on generating placeholder content by [@tylersticka](https://social.lol/@tylersticka )
🙋 A great Q&A with @npub19vz…zmql
💖 Lots of gratitude and appreciation from everyone for all the time and care @npub1dgj…m5xf has given to organizing the meetup over the years
Sorry to see it go, but very grateful we had it for as long as we did 💛

Very, very cool! I’m definitely taken with (and haven’t given up on the idea of) a Git-based CMS 👀
@npub1nx8…kl34 looks super nice! 🙌

📝 I wrote about my current answer to an often-invisible aspect of blogging (maybe especially blogging with a static-site generator) — “What’s your setup?”
What tools are you using? How do you go from idea to draft to published post on your blog?

“I love RSS primarily because you can curate who and what you want to hear from. The pacing is self directed too, and never overwhelming. It feels like riding a bike: fast enough to get somewhere, but slow that the ride is enjoyable.” 🚲

An interesting side effect of using `text-wrap: balance` is an uptick in questions about why text is wrapping — even though there’s plenty of space for it to expand — or why text is wrapping and then “suddenly” isn’t after crossing a seemingly arbitrary threshold.
Not good or bad, but certainly not what I expected!
