ugh, i got my key generation wrong. i was doing pure bech32 which puts a leading 2 chars on, but nostr-tools doesn't put the leading 2 charts. doh. gonna have to redo my vanity npub1

nvm, can't vanity the pub with "jack" since it's hex lol, how did i not notice that already. forest for the trees... anyways, at least "ace" is in my n1pub 👍

I'm not entirely sure I can vanity the "npub1" address with "jack". I can definitely vanity the pub key with "jack" though. My issue is 3 ways the public key is being represented currently. short, short + 2, and npub. also, the clients are all using private key instead of seed phrase nip06 should be the standard.

trying out different clients... nostr console is bugging for me on linux inside gnome-terminal. astral+nos2x extension seems to be the most turn-key web gui so far. any recommendations?
