Another brick in the wall

The pre-thunderstorm smell is ozone. Lightning in the clouds splits nitrogen and oxygen gas into single atoms, which recombine into nitric acid and ozone. Downdrafts and the first drops of rain carry ozone to the ground, where we experience it as a sweet, lightly acidic smell.

Why are both Lazada and Shopee search engines so shit? Filter options all useless. Results almost all irrelevant and out of context. I waste so much time sifting through crap trying to find things I need it's ridiculous.

Thanks 🙋 Sadly, nothing like that will really help tol improve the situation. Incompetence reigns supreme. It took over three hours to process two routine requests. Three hours, and the rest. Just so much wrong with their processes.

What's with all the Dan Spam? Seems to be working proof that Nostr is susceptible to dust spam by any idiot that can do a little simple sripting to generate new Ids that users can't block fast enough and relays aren't able to react quickly enough. #danspam

I ran my own mail since the 90s too. Had to give up in 2016 but not happy with some issues and limitations of the provider I switched to. Have been thinking of doing it again this year, and have a cool syatem design in mind to implement it, but after reading this article it suggests that might not be the best use of my time.

I like the idea, but I tried to send some Monero to a friend who had just paid my bill in a shop (using Exodus wallet, Android) and we couldn't settle because, it turned out to I hadn't synced the blockchain down to my phone and it wouldn't be possible there and then. Not a great experience. Can you suggest a better/quicker/simpler wallet to try instead?

I was attracted to sign up as the promise was the ability to buy small amounts of BTC regularly as a savings plan. On signing up, as I started jumping through the on-boarding hoops, I was told they are only interested in 'high value' individuals. So, probably just another bunch of 'get rich quick' scammers trying to fleece dumb rich people. I expect they will exit the game with as much as they can get at the first opportunity.
